There will be a FREE Halloween Carnival at the East Athens Community Center with face painting, spooky stories & a "lightly" haunted house for Kindergarten through 5th grade aged children on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 5:00 call (706)613-3593 for more information. Teenagers 13 to 18 years old can enjoy a Halloween Party for only $2.00 each on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the East Athens Community Center - pre registration is required! The party will feature a DJ, dancing and refreshments. Don't let your dogs miss out on the fun at Barktoberfest this Friday & Saturday (10/31-11/1/2008) at Z-Dog Baker & Pet Supply - make sure the pup is in costume to go trick or treating - call (706) 354-1804 for details. After the kids have had their fun, adults may want to go play at the Country Rock Cafe (alcohol present - adults only) located at 1700 Commerce Road, Athens, GA home of Athens' largest costume contest! Doors open at 8:30 - costumes not required but hey it's is sure to be fun!
