Spring in Athens, Georgia
| Spring has come to Athens, Georgia with a roar! Many days are reaching the mid to high 70's, which makes for great weather to search for your new Athens Georgia home! Spring in the Athens, Georgia area is time for fishing! The lake at Seagraves Mill in Madison County Georgia is a community secret, just pay a few dollars and fish from the bank or by non-motorized boat! There are great places to fish for free or cheaply in and around Athens, Georgia, watch for an upcoming guest post on the best fishing spots! It's also turkey hunting time in Georgia - but my husband won't let me tell you exactly where these turkeys are (hint: in Elbert County, Georgia). These cows are extremely happy to be eating fresh, green grass instead of hay and these were VERY curious why I way laying in the pasture with them, trying to get the perfect photo of rolling green hills recovered from last summer's drought. Lowell must be the best fisherman ever to catch a fish that big. I think that trout David is holding was poached from private property.
