Athens Georgia Dining Delight - Depalma's Italian Cafe
 With football season upon us, my husband and I took advantage of a rare free Friday night recently to revisit one of my favorite restaurants. Depalma's has three Athens, Georgia dining locations, and dining at any of them is a delight. However, my favorite has always been the one located on Barnett Shoals Road (706-369-0085). We decided to take advantage of the slightly cooler temperatures and enjoy their patio seating.
To start came a half order of the die for breadsticks with spinach and an order of crab cakes. There have been some great new additions to the menu, so I skipped my favorite entree, freshly made angel hair pasta with alfredo sauce, and ventured out to explore the Insalta Ceceila, a gorgeous mixed greens salad with grilled pineapple, scallops, and shrimp with my new favorite dressing - a jalapeno citrus delight! This salad was so delicious, I had to embarrass my husband and take a photo of it to share with you!
